We got engaged sooner than normal couples did. We were swept of our feet when we both found out we’re totally compatible. We started as friends which is why I don’t feel the same “panicky” feeling that I felt from my past relationships. I can say, Reymart became my confidant. And I became his. He is easy to talk to and loves to listen. Whenever I want to come out of the city, he’s only a text away. He loves my craziness and randomness. And most of all, he loved me for who I am and who I wanted to be. Who wouldn’t fall for his charms?

On March 10, 2018 in front of the Land mark tower Yokohama, I said YES!
Most of the people questioned and asked why too soon? Well, I can only say that life is too short to prolong the waiting right?
Who’s with me on that statement? LOL.
We initially plan to have our wedding on Oct 2019 but the main reason why we urged it and push it earlier on April 27, 2018 is because 2020 will be the year he’ll finish his post here in Yokosuka and until he pick his new order in 2019, we’ll never know if he’ll stay in Japan or not. We don’t want all the hassles and the misfortunes so we decided to go for a civil wedding at Yokosuka city hall. We had to finish all the tedious paper works and all. And even after we got married, we’re still surprised of overwhelming sets of more tedious paper works including changing my last name, changing home address, updating insurances and statuses, and all of that stuff.

It was a good decision at all. I’m glad we did it. And as we walk through our life together as a married couple, we look forward on walking down the aisle and exchanging vows in front of our family, friends and above all, in front of God whom we are grateful for.
